Here is a short timelapse video from an approach and landing in Zurich.
During last weekend the Midnight Sun Flyin Event took place in Norway, Sweden and Finland
The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle or south of the Antarctic Circle, when the Sun remains visible at the local midnight.
The term “midnight sun” refers to the consecutive 24-hour periods of sunlight experienced north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle.
I flew from Tromso (Norway) to Kiruna (Sweden). The approach in Kiruna was on runway 03 an RNAV approach.
This video is 90% realtime, only the taxi and cruise are in timelapse.
Sadly the moving map stopped working short after taxi and I didn’t recognized it.
This video is a mixed real time and time lapse video from my latest 2 pilots operation with Chris. At the end of the video you can see the full view from the first officer during takeoff and landing.
Very nice weather radar activity during the approach. Look out 😉
This mixed realtime and time lapse video takes us on an online flight from VATSIM from Amsterdam to Nürnberg during a nice sunset flight.
This flight covers a mixed real time and time lapse flight from Valencia to Ibiza.
Sadly the weather Radar was not working, so no nice reflections on the ND.

During the last year’s I have used this wet Compass solution.
Now I found the post of René on the Prosim forum explaining how he is interfacing his own built wet Compass. Quite simple to be honest. Take an Arduino board (eg. this one on Amazon) and his own built compass, it’s nearly plug and play.
The Arduino board is converted to a mobiflight board with the firmware modification. Required software can be found here.
I have mounted the wet compass in its position and as there are also LEDs included I connected them to the responsible switch. Quite nice product.
Thanks René. Get with him in touch trough the Prosim Forum to get an price with shipping to your country.
Shipping was absolutely fine and René is very fast in responding and providing the asked information. I can recommend this product if you are looking for a wet Compass solution.
