Today I have change my Nvidia graphiccard for an ATI HD 5770 Eyefinity Edition. Now I can connect 3 monitors to the PC and enjoy flying with them. The Eyefinity feature only works in Windows 7.
More information about Eyefinity can be found here.
Pictures will be available during the next weekend, because I have to reinstall my FS again.
Today I have all the PCs and Avionics connected. From the Captain Side all LED boxes as well as switches were soldered.
I can share a phot after a successful testflight @KBFI.
The Overhead is missing, during the next weeks we will mount it to the wall. As it is not mounted at this time, no LEDs are working, because the OC USB Output Cards are on the Overhead attached.. 😉
Today I, not I, we, moved the cockpit to it’s final position. Therefore we had to demount the whole fully painted MIP.
We made a couple of pictures. Click here to see all of them.
Thanks alot to my father and my wife for their help !
The base plate:
And the fully mounted cockpit again:
Today I have painted the MIP the first time with the Boeing color RAL 7011.
Let’s see if a second time is required, when its fully dry.
Today we have built in all modules and panels for a photo 🙂
Then we have started painting. The first colour is not the real one. Its only a fundamental color that the original can be painted tomorrow.
Yesterday my ATC Module has arrived:
Thanks to SimAvionics Forum, Diego shared his SIOC Code with me, and I have adopted it to work also with Squawkbox and “Ident” funtion.
Today we have created and mounted the frames for the displays. Also some nice moldings were placed to make the edges smoother.
During the next days we want to start painting the MIP.
Today we have finished the MCP bay. MCP and EFIS are already built in, the six pack will follow in the next days.
Behind the front plates we also installed the 2 loudspeakers today. The subwoofer will be placed behind the EICAS monitor.
